Duct tape occlusion therapy
If you have been suffering from the painful and embarrassing problem of warts for a long time now, perhaps it is time to give duct tape occlusion therapy a try. In this therapy, the warts are covered with duct tape for an extended period of up to 6 days after which they are left open for only 12 hours and scrubbed lightly with a pumice stone before being covered again. This treatment lasts for at least 8 weeks or unless the wart resolves.
Even though there is no evidentiary proof of the effectiveness of this therapy, some doctors vouch for this wart treatment over cryotherapy. It has also been noticed that by using the duct tape occlusion therapy, one can experience complete resolution of their warts in a period of 28 days. Off late, this therapy has gained massive popularity among both adult patients and parents of children suffering from warts.
