Depression and fatigue are interconnected in more ways that we can think of. In fact, it will not be wrong to say that depression and fatigue reinforce each other thus forming a vicious cycle of negativity that is difficult to break through. The more depressed a person is, the more likely he or she is to feel fatigued. Though medical researchers have long been aware of the symbiotic relation between chronic fatigue syndrome and severe mental depression, ascertaining which symptom comes first is still a mystery.

However, the circular nature of depression and fatigue has led medical experts all over the world to believe that the symptom of depression and the symptom of fatigue can appear simultaneously. One of the easiest ways to treat both these conditions is by exercising regularly. The physical workout increases the body stamina and once you feel more energetic, you are likely to feel less depressed.
